I had an eye opening experien...</title><content type='html'>Thank you for this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had an eye opening experience a little after my children were born. I realized that these two boys would grow up thinking of me as the pattern of what a man is supposed to be. One thing I&amp;#39;ve always tried to do is: &amp;quot;Surround yourself with smart people, and then say something stupid&amp;quot;  Of course, not stupid intentionally, but you get my drift.  If you never tell anyone what you believe, there is never an opportunity for someone to challenge that belief, and ultimately lead to further insight.  You may not completely agree with what they said, but you will never be able to grow without putting yourself out there.
